Will my home work if the internet goes down?+
Local operation depends on the controllers and devices you choose. A system designed for local control can keep supported switches and scenes working on your home network. Remote access and some voice services need internet. We’ll identify those dependencies in your proposed setup.
Can I keep using normal switches?+
Compatible physical switches can remain part of the design, so your family and guests have familiar controls. We check your wiring and switch types before confirming which controls can be retained.
What happens during a power cut?+
Powered devices need electricity. Backup behaviour depends on your inverter or UPS, device settings and the circuits connected to backup power. We discuss essential circuits and safe restart settings during planning.
How much does home automation cost?+
The cost depends on how many circuits and rooms you automate, the chosen equipment, wiring work, curtain tracks and audio requirements. You can begin with a few priorities. Ask for an itemised quote that separates equipment, installation and any recurring fees.
Can you automate an existing home?+
Often there are suitable retrofit options. A site assessment checks wiring, available space in switch boxes, network coverage and device compatibility. We explain the installation work needed for your particular home.
What about privacy, subscriptions and support?+
